Indication:
Drooping of the abdomen skin following weight loss or pregnancy, fat fold with partially covering of pubic region and unattractive skin changes beneath this
fat fold, stomach muscles overexpansion, especially after pregnancies, disturbing scars appearance accompanying with irregular surface of abdomen skin.
Operation:
During the marking the surgeon should take care to place the scar so that it will be hidden by preferred by patient swimsuit.
Thus the pre-operative drawing of swimsuit sizes is the first step in operation planning.
The drooping partially irregular skin, the fat tissue and possibly existing scars and stretch marks between navel and pubic hair
border are removed. The abdominal wall muscles will be nested in themselves so that the waistline and gathering in stomach will
be enhanced and contoured. The skin remained from the upper abdomen area will be lifted and stitched. The navel will be newly
exactly placed and stitched so that the scar will be almost no obvious later.
This operation can be eventually combined with careful liposuction both in upper abdomen area and in hips.
Anaesthesia:
General anaesthesia is optionally possible, sometimes especially by small lift operations of lower abdomen area the local anaesthesia is also offered.
Clinic stay:
We recommend the inpatient stay in the clinic for 1 -3 days depending on the extent of the operation.
After-care:
After the operation the bed position with bended knees and elevated upper body, bowed going, wearing the compression corsage
for 4 - 6 weeks, no physical exertion, first inspection a day after surgery, no sport activities for 3 month, the stitches
will be removed on the navel within 5 - 7 days, on the lower abdomen within 14 days.
