The perspiratory gland hyperfunction manifests itself as extremely perspiration in armpit area as well as on hands and feet.

The patients complain about considerable hygienic discomfort. In turn it leads to the significant psychological strain with social alienation and following it conflicts in professional and private surroundings. The problem with extremely perspiration appears to be not widely known due to sense of shame and diffidence. However, the practise shows that substantially more people suffer from it than previously supposed.

Indication:

The treatment of hyperhidrosis in the armpits, on the hands and feet.

Treatment:

We give preference to two treatment methods :

1. With Botulinumtoxin A

, which is injected direct in and beneath the skin by means of ultra-fine acus, the nerve impulse of the perspiratory gland is paralysed and thus the noticeable reduce of perspiration is achieved. This effect appears within 4 - 6 days and remains during 4 - 6 months.

This treatment can be repeated unrestrictedly. It is applied in all of three above-mentioned regions.

2. By means of curettage technique

(scraping of glands beneath the skin) and the suction, , using the special curved suction cannulas the perspiratory glands in certain area can be removed for the most part. This operation is done under local anaesthesia and normally leads to the permanent reduced perspiration. However, this treatment is applicable only for armpits.
