Indication:
By significant skin excess with loss of elasticity in both upper arms areas that is perceived as very disturbing.
Operation :
After preliminary marking whereby the area of skin to be removed and incision line are outlined the excess tissue removing and upper arm
remodelling is performed. The scars lie both under the arm and on the inner side of upper arm so, that normally they are almost not visible.
This operation can be combined with liposuction by relevant diagnostic findings.
But during the initial consultation surgeon should outline for the patient that here the wide scars can occur.:
Anaesthesia:
Normally this surgery is performed under general anaesthesia, but can also be done under local anaesthesia.
Clinic stay:
The inpatient stay in the clinic for one day is recommended.
After-care:
Wearing the compression bandage, no physical exertion, first inspection a day after surgery, the stitches will be removed within 14 days after the operation.
