Breast reduction by men (Gynecomasty)

Gynecomasty means the increasing of mammary gland tissue by men. For men the female breast organization represents a significant psychical problem. The disposition, overweight or excess of female hormones can be its reasons. By the female breast organization by men the augmented gland tissue is mostly combined with fatty tissue that can be so voluminous, that distinct female breast form appears.

The andrologic-hormonic clarification should obligatory take place before the operation.

Operation:

The operation is performed depending on the composition of breast tissue. By excess fatty tissue the liposuction is offered (see theme: Liposuction) . Additionally augmented gland tissue will be also removed operatively. This operation is done via the half-moon shaped incision on the breast nipple.

Anaesthesia:

The operation is performed under local anaesthesia.
